Advanced technologies on the Sonata 2.0T powertrain: twin-scroll turbocharger combined with GDI technology available in SE and Limited models

  • With a remarkable 34 mpg highway fuel
        economy rating, the 2.0-liter turbocharged
        gasoline direct-injection engine also delivers
        274 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque across
        a broad rpm range (1,750 rpm to 4,500 rpm),
        giving the Sonata 2.0T V6 power with 4-cylinder
        fuel economy, all while using regular fuel
    •  Twin-scroll turbocharger design recovers even
        more energy from the exhaust than a
        single-scroll turbocharger
    •  2.0T SE adds an upgraded fully automatic
        temperature control system and steering
        wheel-mounted paddle shifters
